Before lighting, cut/maintain the wick at 1/4".
As the candle melts, a pool of molten will form inside the walls of the candle. As the outside walls heat, they soften, so you can gently push the sides down all around the candle. Use one hand to hold the candle and with the other hand, using your thumb, push down on the top-sides to hug the candle. Be careful not to press too hard, as the candle may tip.

To put out ALL beeswax candles, submerge the wick in the molten pool ( I usually do this with a pencil) and push wick back up so when the wax is dry, the wick is still exposed
Never leave a lit candle unattended!
